A 2007 gelding by Primitive Proposal who was bred by his owner Catherine Wood-Collins. He arrived at Danesmoor stud as a broken 4 year old. He had 2 easy seasons as a 5 and 6 year old as he has been slow physically to mature. He has been placed in the CIC* at Rockingham Castle and Firle Place and was 4th in the CCI* at Aldon. He also clocked up several Intermediate placing. He's now gone home for his mum to enjoy him.
Imported from Ireland as a 5 year old, now 6 this chestnut gelding is by Luidam an Irish Showjumper. This horse is part-owned by Danesmoor Sport Horses and Dr Jen Le Miere. He was a cheeky 5yo but has gone from strength to strength. As an 8yo he jumped double clear around Burnham Market CIC** (2016) and finished that season 11th in the CCI** at Ballindenisk with a super double clear.
FHS Diamond in the Rough
Owned and bred by Maddie Gardner of Fishers Hill Stud
He is by Solitair out of Whatacarryon (Strongale). Smokey was the BEF Futurity Champion in 2011 and as a 5 year old qualified for the Burghley Young Event Horse championships. This year he has qualified for the Petplan regionals and is jumping BS newcomers and 1.15, as well as placings at BE 100 level.
His first crop of foals were born in 2014.
Smokey is very athletic and light on his feet. He is very trainable, with a great temperament and has even enjoyed the odd days hunting. He went to a show jumping yard while I was pregnant and is now enjoying a dressage career with his owner.
Herbie is our homebred 2002 out of an Advanced mare Battle Annie by AintLifeLikeThat To date he has achieved 39 BE points he has retired from eventing and now enjoys hunting and nannying the babies.
Manado is by Java Tiger out of my pony club mare born in 1997 he is sadly retired but so far he is my horse of a lifetime.
He finished his career with 63 points having jumped clear around numerous advanced tracks including Burnham Market CIC3* & 9th in the CCI2* at Burgie. He was never built to do dressage and not classic show jumping but he was a cross country machine. He hunted as a reward for having to trot in circles and even enjoyed the odd team chase. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I genuinely believe if I knew what I do now when producing him he would have pinged around a 4 star track with me.
Bred and owned by Tina Ure
2007 chestnut mare by Classic Juan
She only stood around 15 hands and ran well at 90 & 100. Fortunately as a 7yo she grew a little and we had some good results. While I was pregnant she moved to a junior with whom she was selected for the U18 championships at Frickley and completed several one stars.
Owned and bred by Tina Ure. Humpty was originally produced by Owen Moore. After taking over the ride we have had some very good runs including winning the Open Novice at Barbury and at intermediate level.
